Formation of Huffman & Cleveland, Certified Public Accountants.
1976
The addition of partners formed Huffman, Cleveland, & Anderson CPAs.
1978
The firm relocated to the historical Eve House which is listed on the Augusta Historical Registry.
1979
The firm Cleveland, Anderson & Company became the first CPA firm to open an office in Columbia County.
1982
New office location 3727 Executive Center Drive.
1986
Tracy Cleveland joined the firm.
1991
Malinda Johnston joined the firm.
1996
Newly constructed and relocated to the current site at 3740 Executive Center Drive.
1998
Adam Williams joined the firm.
2000
Angela Brock joined the firm.
2002
Tracy Cleveland named partner.
2002
William and Tracy knew achievement wasn’t measured by the number of returns or reports but by the people who helped make it all happen. Therefore, formed and renamed the firm The Cleveland Group, Certified Public Accountants & Business Advisors LLC.
2006
Named Columbia County Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Year.
2008
Jo-anne Frey joined the firm.
2013
Excellence continues with…. new look, same amazing people & service.
2017
David Shaver joined the firm.
2019
William Cleveland receives Lifetime Achievement award from the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce.
2022
Mr. Cleveland officially retired.
2023
A portion of the Group named partner for their key roles and contributions to the firm over the years.

Awarded by the Builder’s Association Best Accounting Firm.
